Portland based Punk-Rapper That Fucking Ivan merges the philosophy of anti-authority punk with the unapologetic delivery of conscious hip-hop. Raised in Atlanta GA, T.F. Ivan was exposed to addiction, abuse, domestic violence, and poverty from infancy. Rarely staying in one home longer than a few months, having held residence in all 5 counties of metro-Atlanta, T.F. Ivan dropped out of high school at 15 and relocated to Springfield, Jacksonville, FL. Skateboard in hand, a home was found in street-culture, acceptance in a world that always branded him “outcast.” As it was and still is, drugs, violence, prostitution, and police brutality all a staple of city living in the deep South. As a product of the environment, T.F. Ivan became trapped in a cycle of destruction with himself the catalyst and victim. Prolonged mindless self indulgence has a way of making us lose ourselves. T.F. Ivan sought to reinvest in himself, his supporters, and the craft.

His 3rd mixtape, Art & Carcinogens, addresses the struggles faced in modern life. A counter to propaganda. And confronts the question of our time: how can we stop from killing ourselves, when everything in our life poisonous? Still in a constant battle with his personal demons, Ivan holds back nothing. Wether confronting the issues facing society as a whole or addressing his own addictions and shortcomings, he comes with true grit and authenticity. The Music, always a reflection of reality.
